James was a WWII veteran serving with the Air Force for 3 years. He was a farmer mostly in the west valley.
James married Catalina Mena and they shared over 60 years of marriage prior to her passing on February 6, 2021.
James is survived by four children Kelly Earl (Kathleen) Burch of TX; Gloria Sue (Roger) Allen of TX; Linda Sue Stevens of El Mirage & Juana (Jesus) Rodriguez of Goodyear, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, a son Richard Lee Broyles, son-in-law Jerry Stevens and grandson Jesus Rodriguez III preceded him in death.
Family and friends are invited at a graveside service, with military honors, on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
