Jim was born April 21, 1933 and passed away on March 23, 2018 after a prolonged illness. Eric was born March 21, 1972 and passed away after a massive heart attack on February 8, 2011, while living in Michigan.
Jim is survived by wife, Nancy, his children Kathy Chromy (Gerry) & Karen Tonn (Mike), stepchildren Julie Powell, Geoff Pelsma & Janae Shoup, grandchildren Andy Chromy, Katie Schmitt, Suzie Tellier, Josh Tonn & many great grandchildren and Nancy’s grand and great grandchildren, sister Jeannie Hoefer and brother Johnny Hoefer. He is predeceased by parents Lorraine & Walter, brothers Robert and Jerry adn sister Bernice, son Eric, stepson Jason Pelsma. Eric is survived by his sibling and step siblings.
Services will be held Thursday, March 29 with a viewing at 10:00AM and funeral service immediately following at 11:00AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. Jim will be laid to rest following services at Resthaven Park Cemetery also in Glendale.
