James A Perlow

Jim married Melissa Weiss on February 23, 1968; they have shared over 55 years of marriage. They started what has become a very big family and enjoyed many adventures together.

Jim was well known in the Aerospace Industry as a quality manager and Vice President at Jet Products Co., Inc. He was an active member of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Jim developed the school to work program for high school seniors to have the opportunity to learn a trade by the time they graduated high school.

He also spent time as a reserve police officer for the Phoenix Police Department and sold cars for fun in retirement.

Jim loved his God and his family foremost. He loved his Myrtie (his wife/ girlfriend of 55+ years) and took excellent care of her until his last day here. Jim loved his sisters and brothers and enjoyed regular lunches together to stay close. He always had a big smile any time we had the opportunity to gather together. Jim's grand littles and great grand littles were a bright spot in his life. He had a way of making people feel special with texts, mailed birthday and holiday cards, getting together for breakfast and casino outings. Jim enjoyed having new vehicles over the years. He and Myrtie enjoyed skiing, being out on the boat, trips to Laughlin & cruises over the years.

Jim also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing his guitar. He even wrote some songs.

Jim treasured the friendships he had grown over the years.

He is survived by his wife Melissa, two children Hollie & Jim, six grandchildren Jenna, Anna, Russell, Montana, Garrett & Melissa, four bonus grandchildren Gabriela, Victoria, Mykala, and Mitchell, eight + great grandchildren, Xavier, David, Russell Gabriel, Dominic, Giselle, Julian, Tyson, Braxton, baby boy coming February 2024, two sisters Debbie & Judy and brother Norm.

In addition to his parents, a brother Eugene preceded Jim in death.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating his life on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 3PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Additionally there will be a gathering at the family home beginning at 5PM.
