Janis Mae Morris

Janis very much enjoyed reading and solving the occasional crossword puzzle. Her greatest joy in life however, was raising her six children.

Janis is survived by her children: LaVerne (Jerry) Reynolds, Yvonne (James) Terry, Mark (Linda) Morris, Roger (Lisa) Morris, Amy (Michael) Berry, and Heidi (Jay) Marshall. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Sally (Randy) McConnaughey, David Terry, Christopher (Diana) Terry, Ginny (Ian) Neal, Katelyn (Wes) Meyer, Brian Morris, David Morris, Benjamin Berry, Timothy (Hailey) Berry, Emily Berry, Allister Marshall, Thomas Morris, Nora Marshall, Myles Marshall, and Janis Marshall. Her legacy continues with her great-grandchildren: Logan McConnaughey, Lilly McConnaughey, Cynthia Neal, Simon Neal, Andrew Meyer, Charles Meyer, and Lilah Berry.

In addition to her parents, Janis was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Morris, and her siblings, Doyle Grosz, Mildred Mohr, John Grosz, Wilber Grosz, Alister Grosz, and Robert Grosz.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 8:30 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.

Janis will be remembered with love and cherished memories by all who knew her.
