JoAnn Williamson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. She was born on March 1, 1945, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Dick and Mary Bushong.
JoAnn grew up in Phoenix and attended Cortez High School, where she served as cheerleading captain and was an active member of the tennis team. She first married John W. Spears Sr., and together they had two children before later parting ways. JoAnn later met and married Thomas Williamson, and they had one son together.
She worked for many years at Roman’s County Line and Roman’s Oasis, where she was known for her outgoing personality, fun spirit, and strong work ethic. JoAnn touched many lives with her kindness and lively spirit.
JoAnn is survived by her three brothers: Joe, John, and Pete Bushong; her children: John W. Spears Jr., Jacqueline Spears- Haug, and David T. Williamson; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
