

John Loadholt, a beloved husband, father, and dedicated member of the Nation of Islam, peacefully passed away on December 13, 2023. He was born on September 9th, 1950, in New York City, to proud parents John and Willie Mae Loadholt.
John's journey through life began in the Douglas Projects, where he attended P.S. 175 elementary school, Joan of Arc Junior High School, and his academic journey culminated at Brandeis High School. He graduated with determination and a vision for his future.
At the age of 19, John embarked on a spiritual journey converting to Islam. He found purpose and community in Temple #7 in New York under the leadership of the honorable Elijah Muhammad and Temple #32 in Phoenix Arizona.
In 1973, he crossed paths with the love of his life, Jeanette Walker, and together they forged a bond that lasted a lifetime. John Loadholt's loving and generous spirit extended to include Jeanette's son, Born Allah, whom he embraced as his own. The couple exchanged vows and embarked on a journey of love and companionship.
In 1975, John and Jeanette made the significant decision to move to Los Angeles, where they established a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. From this union, two remarkable sons, John and Troy Loadholt, were born.
In 1981, John Loadholt met Teresa, and their union blessed them with four children—Ivy, Venice, Alisha, and Joshua. John embraced his role as a father with unwavering commitment, leaving an indelible mark on his children.
Throughout his life, John was known for his dedication to the principles of the Nation of Islam. He devoted the past year of his life to service at Rauch Company as a Spare Part Attendant. In his role, John demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence and a meticulous attention to detail. John was also known for his commitment to his family, and unwavering strength in the face of challenges. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith.
John Loadholt's profound legacy is etched in the hearts of his cherished family, whom he leaves behind with enduring love and cherished memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette, and his children, Born Allah, John, Troy, Ivy, Venice, Alisha, and Joshua. His sister, Pat, and his brother, Maurice. John's impact also extends to the generations that follow, as he leaves behind a legacy carried by his grandchildren: Aneesah, Syheim, Sa’Nya, Naheim, Jullian, Joselyn, Edyn, Desmond, Damon, DaShanti, Demarie', Cayden, Zayona, Zaniece, Zanay, Serenity, Zaki, Uriah, and Aniyah.
John Loadholt will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in his family and friends. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us celebrate the life he lived and the positive impact he made on those around him.
