John Panas Jr., a beloved and devoted resident of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on August 12, 1947, in Bridgeport, Connecticut John was a resilient individual who dedicated his life to his family and country.
A retired Air Force veteran, he served for 20 years performing detailed maintenance on aircrafts, showcasing his commitment and expertise in his field.
John is survived by his sons, Michael Panas and Greg Shoemaker. He was predeceased by his wife, Kum Cha Panas, and his parents, Bernice and John Panas Sr.
A visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, 85301, on January 22, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 W Maryland Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, 85301, on January 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, 85301, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
