He was born on April 23, 1977 in Buffalo, New York to Jose L. Quintana and Myrna G. Edsall.
José loved everyone. Family was everything to him. He was the type of man to help anyone in need. He loved to make everyone laugh and always had a smile. He enjoyed driving and learning new things. He was super close with his nieces and nephews (Gerardo, Marisela, Destiny, Caraline, Alex, Aliyah, Giovanni) also his step grandchildren (Yuritza, Nilza, David).
He is survived by his mother Myrna, father José, fiancée Leticia Hernandez, three children José L. Quintana, IV and twins Maria Elena Pizano Quintana & Amy Marie Pizano Naveaux, two-week-old grandson Alex James Morris and seven siblings Janice Ramsey (Jeremy), Zenaida Quintana (Ernesto), Lillian Quintana (Detrick), Brenda Tejeda (Fernando), Danny Quintana, Aaron Quintana & Katarina Howard.
José was preceded in death by a son José Quintana, III and his stepfather Donald G. Edsall.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Mariposa Park (corner of 31st Avenue & W. Morten Avenue) Phoenix Arizona, between the hours of 2-5pm. Potluck style, everyone is welcome.
