Josefa was born on September 30, 1928 in Peoria, AZ. Josefa is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe G. Rangel Sr. and 3 children, son Joe Rangel Jr. (Patricia), daughters; Esther Wokvish (Don), and Elizabeth Silvas (John) also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Josefa always put everyone before herself, whether it was her husband, children, grandchildren, church or even a homeless person needing food, she did whatever she could to help everyone. Though she only had 3 children of her own, she helped raise and teach countless people life lessons that will never die.
Services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church 5510 W. Cholla Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85304. Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM with the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, followed by internment at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue Glendale, AZ 85301.
