Joyce was a very thoughtful, kind and lovely person.  I used to call her the "money lady" as no one could collect money for the Air Force like Joyce.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and  friends.  God Bless Joyce and may she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Joyce S. Carter's family. Joyce was a good friend from high school. She is funny, kind and friendly. Her interest in the military may have started during our junior year when she joined the Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC). She was always snappy in our marching drills and very attentive during military exercises specially assembling and disassembling an M1 garand rifle. Thank you for the memories, Joyce! May your soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Joyce was my high school classmate from St Bridget School. I last saw her almost 8 years ago in a high reunion in Los Angeles. She had our group in stitches with lots of laughter. She was a sport and her presence that day was wonderful and remarkably blessed. We hope to remember her always when we have another chance of meeting again.
