

68, of Glendale, Arizona, died peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2011 with family at her side. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond Benjamin and Dorothy Jean (McRath) Hauke. On September 28, 1968, She married Bruce M. Williams at the Chapel of the West, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home and raised their family in Glendale, Arizona. Judith, known to most as Judy, graduated from South Mountain High School in Phoenix, worked for the Department of Public Safety, in Phoenix as a Keypunch Operator and Data Processing Machine Operator. Later, she resigned her position, obtained her BA and MA in Elementary Education from A.S.U. and taught music at schools in the Phoenix area. Her hobbies included raising Nubian goats, art, music,playing the guitar and spending time with the family. She is survived by her beloved husband Bruce and daughters, Heather Williams-Thoe of Glendale, and Wendy Williams of Phoenix; son-in-laws Mike and Ian; granddaughters, Emily and Sophia; grandson Ethan; her brother Charles and nieces Rita, Judy and Megan. A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 21, 2011 at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Norhern Ave., Glendale, AZ, 85301 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society (kidney cancer research programs) or Hospice of the Valley.
