My beautiful Sister,
We are so blessed to have the family and memories that we do…and there are so many.
I miss you every day, but I know you will be right there singing and dancing to every Bob Segar song played.
This picture is how I will always carry you in my heart. 


There are so many memories over the years it’s hard to pick just one. 
If there is one thing I could say about Kathy it would be…FAMILY!
Kathy was so proud of her family and their IRISH HERITAGE! She was so proud to let everyone know the family was Irish and from New York!  You could bet if St. Patrick’s day was coming, there was a PARTY to be had and a “green line down the street”! The drinking and dancing to the Irish polka were some of the funniest memories we made together! 
To know Kathy was an absolute pleasure! She was strong, a force to be reckoned with and didn’t take crap off anyone! She was the best neighborhood watch any neighbor could have! She definitely kept the riff raff OUT! 
Kathy we will miss you but know that you are up there in heaven with your daddy doing the Irish jig!   Gary, Jennifer and the rest of the family will be strong just as you would want them to be. The pain of not seeing you everyday will subside and they will be there for each other.  
To the family, we would like to say how deeply sorry we are, but know that you are not alone as Kathy is watching over each and every one of you.

As I am sure you were certain of, I to thought that there was going to be more time.  More time to talk, more time to share feelings and thoughts.  I was absolutely convinced that you were going home, and that I would have had the time to properly thank you for all that you did for me and my family.  Regrettably, I was wrong.  I never made it back into the hospital to come see you.  I knew how tired you were, and I never wanted to interrupt your rest.  Since I missed my opportunity to speak with you before your passing,  I'll say it here, with the hope that you receive the message.  First off, I want to thank you for believing in me, and seeing me for who I am from the very start.  You went to bat for me with Jenny's father.  You accepted me and all of my faults.  You knew I was a young father, that I had yet to have a career path set, but you still supported me being in a relationship with your daughter.  I'll never forget that.  I'll carry that with me for all time.  I also want to thank you for accepting my family and I into your own.  Never once have I felt like an outsider.  I have always felt nothing but warmth and love from you and your family.  Finally, thank you for being you.  Your heart of gold - your bold, blunt, fierce nature is inspirational.  You stand for what is good and right in this world.  You are never ashamed to speak your truth.  You go to battle for those you love.  I've always admired those things about you.  Luckily, you've instilled those same qualities into your daughter.  For that, I am forever thankful.  Kathy - rest peacefully knowing that I've learned a thing or two from you along the way.  Know that I will defend and go to battle for Jennifer until my dying breath.  We will think about you every day, until we meet again.

 I would like to thank god  to you Kathy for giving me the most amazing sister in law a girl could wish for, because of Jenny I was able to meet an amazing woman and call you family. I am forever grateful to spend the times I was able with you at some family gatherings and the most special day you where most proud of, your daughter getting married! You always treated my little family like your own anytime we saw you and that is a very special feeling.You will be deeply missed and loved. Jenny loves and misses you Tremendously and always will.  We will take it from here and take good care of her. Rest peacefully in heaven❤️ Love you.

I miss you sooo much Kate. A day doesn’t go by without you in my thoughts and heart.     I love so much.    

Oh Kathy! She was something fierce! I love my first memory of Kathy. It was over 25 years ago. Jenny and I have been best friends since the 8th grade. Anyone who knows Jenny, knows she got it from her Mama ;). That being said, Jenny got into a smidge of trouble in the 8th grade and Kathy was NOT having it. She tracked Jenny down at school and literally had us running scared through the breeze walks, hallways and girls' bathrooms. Jenny, an expert at skedaddling was able to get away. Me, new to this trouble thing, I wasn't so lucky. I came running around the corner in an attempt to escape the wrath that was Kathy, only to find myself face to face with her, mad as hell.  Out of her mouth, nine little words - "I will sever this friendship if I have to". And It was from that moment on I knew Kathy was a force to be reckoned with. As the years passed, Jenny and I grew up and Kathy and I grew on each other, eventually loving one another dearly. But to this day, none of us have ever forgotten just how close Jenny and I came to our severed friendship. She will be missed always. Truly. I miss her. I miss her fire. And from her fire, always came a relentless warmth. I miss her warmth. Until we meet again, Kathy, give heaven some hell. Love you <3

So many great memories and fun times with Gary and Kathleen and the whole family. 

Kathleen could get a conga line going like nobody’s business!!!

I am truly blessed to have been good friends with the whole family for many many years. 

Although Kathleen is greatly missed her smile, laughter and fun loving spirit will always be there.   Our love and prayers are with the whole family.  

PS: Kathleen and Edmo, you had the best oregano Jim and I ever smoked.   (A very old inside joke yet true story). Lol

A heart of gold, so loving, caring, giving, strong, and stubborn. I will forever hold you in my heart. You are a piece of me and I am a piece of you. I love and miss you more than I can even put into words. You were my guiding light and such an inspiration to me. I will forever cherish our memories together. I love you so much, Mommy.
