

Kenn Eugene Peck went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, July 31, 2017.
He was married to the love of his life Kathie for 61 years. He was a great dad and an
amazing grandfather. Kenn was born in Maywood, Indiana on August 22, 1929. He started working at a
jewelry store at the age of 13 and found his passion and profession for the rest
of his life. At 17 years old he was the youngest man to attend and graduate from the Elgin
School of Watchmaking and eventually received the distinction of Certified Master
Watchmaker (CMW) from the American Watchmakers Institute. Over the years Kenn worked in
many jewelry stores including Perry’s Jeweler in the Uptown Plaza of Phoenix for 14 years. He
finished his working years as an Instrument Technician for Salt River Project and retired in 1994.
Kenn was proud that he served his country as an Instrument Technician in the Air Force during the Korean conflict,
where he achieved the rank of Airman First Class. He served with distinction earning several medals
for his service. Ken loved camping, the mountains, and the outdoors and was an avid reader.
He loved his grandkids and sharing his passion and knowledge with them and others.
He was a man of faith, serving and encouraging others for most of his life.
He loved guns, cars, photography, cameras, and music. Kenn could fix and repair just about anything.
Kenn loved his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Kathie Peck,
his eldest son Bruce and daughter in-law Betsy, his son Lyle and daughter in-law Lucia
and grandchildren Brenna and Ben.
