He graduated from Apollo High School in 1978 and went on to build a remarkable career as a colorist with Dunn-Edwards Paints, dedicating over 38 years to the company.
Kent was an adventurous and hard-working individual, qualities that were reflected in both his professional and personal life. He was an avid hiker, known for conquering several 7-summit challenges and daily climbs up Piestewa Peak. His commitment to health and fitness was evident, often being in better shape than most people he encountered on the trails. If you passed him, it was "game on." Remarkably, he once achieved over 120,000 steps in 15 hours.
On March 15, 2013, Kent married the love of his life, Lori Padrick. He is survived by his wife Lori, his parents Stephan and Joyce, his two sons David Padrick and Michael (Erika) Padrick, and his three grandchildren, James, Rosalee, and Adelaide. He also leaves behind his sister Kimberly (Scott) Parker and several nieces and nephews.
A devoted Christian, Kent, along with Lori, were members of Scottsdale Bible Church, where they were active in their faith community. Kent's steadfast faith and stalwart testimony inspired countless others to draw closer to the Lord.
