Kent,
The last time I saw you was about one year ago.  Carolyn and I were on a road trip and had dinner with the whole family at Steve and Joyce’s home.  What a great time.   Even though we didn’t see each other a lot, we were kept up to date on the kids by your parents.
So fly high my friend and enjoy seeing all of those family members who have gone before you.

Kent was remarkable.  I learned to love him dearly.  So strong in his faith.  Shared with me the song "The Lighthouse".  Will always think of him when I hear that song.  I sure hope they have hiking in heaven as Kent will lead the team.

I distinctly remember first meeting Kent at church as awkward high school freshmen just trying to figure out the youth group and how God fit into our lives. I remember spending countless days/nights over at his home so enjoying Kent just being Kent. Never phony but almost always a little strange which I desperately needed being myself way too uptight. I so admired that Kent was who he was and if somebody didn't like it he quietly just moved on. Mostly, I was challenged by his need to know and experience God and His Word. I not only enjoyed Kent's fun & goofy personality but I was really challenged by his pursuit of Christ. Even though we haven't connected a lot since then, it is so good to hear how he was still walking strong in Christ. I also love(d) his family! Truly a home away from home only 15 minutes away. I'm so, so grateful and a little jealous that Kent is face to face with the KING of all kings.

I worked side by side with Kent for 6 years at the DE Camelback location and he was one of the strongest people I’ve ever worked with, professionally and physically. Kent took pride in his work and was a craftsman of color. His eye was better trained than the machines we rely on to match color. Kent always delivered, his dedication and reliability were unmatched. He always out worked the young bucks and lead by example. And he could do more push ups than anybody else and would challenge any team member feeling froggy! A kind and thoughtful soul with a quiet confidence, Kent treated everyone with respect and dignity. I will miss him

I am so sorry for your loss.  I first met Kent in 1974.  He was always very good to everyone around him.   Everyone loved having Kent as their friend as he was a rare gem.  He will be missed.

Kent was the best Papa. His gentle spirit and inspiring faith will be dearly missed by myself and my family.

Kent made it a point to come out to my basic training graduation March of 2014. I’ll never forget how intentional he was about making sure he was there for his family. He also made it to my wedding in 2015 and countless trips to NC to spend time with us. I love you and will miss you Dad.

I met Kent while working at Dunn-Edwards.  I was impressed by his hard work, dedicated work ethic, love of family, love of hiking, and love of God.   
I followed his journey and prayed for his recovery.  My sincere condolences to Kent's loving family.  May it give you peace in knowing he is loved and at home with the Father.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Kent for many years and we always discussed God and His impact on our lives. Kent was a man of conviction and was not afraid to speak up for his faith. I will miss him. But, I will see him again. Praying for your family in this time of loss.

My Condolences to family and friends.  Kent was a friend and mentor to me in high school.  We both did shot put in track and we would work out together in the Apollo weight room.  Rest in Peace  my friend!

Kent was truly the most dedicated and devoted person to his faith. His unwavering beliefs continued undaunted even when faced with certain death.  His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gained the best of the best when Kent ascended on high.

So many wonderful memories as students, athletes and fun loving guys. Countless hours were spent cranking calling unsuspecting victims. I vividly recall driving to our ACT session at GCC early one Saturday morning. Being always hungry, you drove us through the drive thru at Jack in the Box. We ordered, we paid and you drove away, without the food! Competing with you was a blessing and much better than ever having to compete against you. I loved spending the night at your house. The best part of overnighting was witnessing your faith and your commitment to God. Attending church with your family became my most impactful memory. Rest in Peace, brother! 
My sincere condolences to Lori, Kim, Mr. and Mrs. Knight and all of your family and friends. I am so proud and thankful to call you my friend. Heaven truly gained an angel.
