When given the privilege to try and describe someone as beloved as Lorraine in such a small space, you start thinking of perfect words. It didn’t take long to come up with the word selfless as the perfect description. Ask anyone of her friends, children, family, co-workers and friends of the family, I think they would agree. With a big heart and a wonderful smile, Lori contributed to so many lives, helping with a place to live, food to eat, a home for wayward animals and humans and of course to the lives of her children, family and friends. Lori is survived by her children Ethan Rowley, Caitlin Rowley and Christine Mellan (David), grandson Dillon Mellan, siblings Bill Armagost (Victor Vensor) and Amy Kirston (Craig), mother Caroline Leach (Paul) and her fur babies Heiress and Teddy. Lorraine was highly regarded professional within the insurance industry. Always responsible and accountable to others, her strength of character always made her a prized employee wherever she worked. Her dedication to her job was outweighed only by the love she had for her children. The devotion and time she gave to her kids was an inspiration. The way she fought to stay among us for as long as she did is a testament to a strength and vitality that you don’t see every day. Lori was the consummate human being and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date as the safety and wellbeing of her friends and loved ones is being considered at this point in time.
