He was born in Durham, North Carolina on November 6, 1941 to the late Louis and Lucy Dunston.
Louis retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Jenny Dunston, four children Darlene Ballesteros, George Dunston, Rudy Ballesteros & Sylvia Dunston, six siblings George, Carol, Paul, Barbara, Pee Wee, & Jesse, four grandchildren Gabriel, Celeste, Rudy & Mikayla and three great grandchildren Fabian, Ariana & Jacob.
In addition to his parents Louis was preceded in death by a son Louis Dunston.
Louis will be laid to rest on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ with full military honors.
