It’s been two years since we last spoke. Feels like yesterday. Missing you more than one can even imagine. I love you and miss you every minute. 

Oh Marie, My mom & I were thinking of you today,  what a wonderful mom & friend you were.  Who else with 9 kids would still take in another.  I loved your pot roast & sweet tea!  Your heart was bigger than the Grand Canyon.  You did for others always thinking of others before yourself.  I know the Lord said to you  “well done good and faithful servant.”  
May you Rest In Peace !!! 

Where does one start when trying to say just the right things about a person that means so much. Mom I truly believe that you’re in heaven and our Heavenly Father said “well done.” You showed me and everyone else what it is to care and love unconditionally . Thank you for all you did to help Sandy and I when we were just starting out,. Always making sacrifices for all of us, family and friends. You’ll forever be missed but never forgotten. I pray that one day we’ll all be together again, I am truly blessed to have you as my Mother in Law . Love you Mom.

Grandma, not sure even where to begin. I will miss the birthday calls, hearing how the D-backs are doing or raiding the fridge for your sweet tea or just tea as you called it. I can remember being chased around the kitchen with you behind me with your teeth and being spoiled to death by cookies when you watched us while my parents were on date night. I will miss your sweet voice and your little grunts when you heard something  you didn’t like. I will miss bringing donuts to you in the mornings when I was home.  I will carry with me though your generosity, your persistence and Lord knows your stubbornness. I love you doesn’t cover it, I miss you is an understatement and time will go by to slowly before the next time we meet. I love ya Grandma, Love JJ.

Every time I think of you mom, my heart swells with love & happiness. So many happy memories of you. Thanks for always being there for us.  You were so humble and greatful about life & it inspired all of us. I look forward to the day where we get to join you again. God Bless!!

Mommy I miss you more every day. I'm thankful that god chose you to be my mom. You are the most strongest, kindest, generous woman I know and so proud to call you my mother. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what. I'll cherish the times we spent together but I'll miss your hugs, your voice and your child like giggle. I will miss talking to you on Football Sunday's and you telling me every player you didn't like. Holidays are going to be tough without you as you were the rock that held the family together. The selfish part of me wants you here with us but it was your time and god called you home. You're wings were ready, my heart was not. My heart is broken. I'll love you forever.

One of the first things I remember about you, is that when I first came into your family you always treated me with an unconditional love without even knowing me.  As time went on, I noticed how strong and caring you were with your family. You were always there for Lydia and our family in any way we needed help.  Mom I know you knew that I am a child of God now and when you left us I could not go for a run without crying, but now I celebrate your life when I go for a run. I never knew I was going to have such a caring and loving second Mom in my life, but God blessed me with you. I love you Mom and I will see you.

Grandma, I will miss you very much. I am going to miss going to your house and hanging out. I wish we could have had more time together, but I'm so glad that I got to say "I love you" one last time.  May you rest in peace. I love you very much, Grandma.

Mama, I miss you sooo much already. You are an amazing woman. I learned a lot from you and you didn't even have to say a word. I am going to miss our breakfast and lunch dates at Cracker Barrel, our conversations, your smile, your laugh and the I love you's. You are so sweet and loving but stern when you had to be. I am going to miss you calling me a "smart ass" when I said something dumb. I will miss your grocery lists/shopping. I will never forget when you threw the toilet paper down the hall because I bought the wrong kind. I am so grateful that I had the chance to tell you  on our last phone call that "you are my Hero and the best Mom ever"! I love you with all my heart! May you rest in peace. 

I’m going to miss hearing your gentle and caring Oklahoma accent when calling to wish a Happy Birthday. You were so generous and amazing to all of us grandkids/great grandkids. I’m happy to have so many great memories from my childhood with you. I’ll never forget your voice, the scent of your home, the chickens/rabbits, your clothesline, your coffee can cookie stash, your breakfast potatoes, your sweet tea, watching you sit and drink your black coffee, my pumpkin pie,  sleeping on the floor, playing marbles/cards, watching Walker TR/Wrestling/The Price is Right/Dr. Quinn/True Lies, playing so many games with my cousins, the holidays/gifts, scaring us with your teeth (haha), and you standing outside to wave goodbye every time we left. I am so thankful for you. I love you. Rest easy. You deserve it. 

I know you're at peace & in no more pain but I wish I could give you one more hug & say one more "I love you so much grandma." You've fought so many fights in your life & that had made you such a strong woman. I've always admired your super strength & hope to be just as brave as you were. I'll continue to remember your very contagious laugh, beautiful smile, your warm & very strong hugs, also your work ethic. I'm so blessed to have had you in my life for 32 years but introducing  you to all 4 of my babies was one of my favorite memories. I'll cherish it forever.  You always had such excitement when it came to the kids. I'll keep your spirit & memory alive with all our pictures & stories. I hope to continue to make you proud. Love you so much grandma & I'll forever miss you. I hope to someday be sitting next to you. Please watch over my little family & guide us to health, happiness & love.

I hope you know how special you were to us all. You were so selfless in giving to everyone and rarely asking for anything in return. I wish I had more time to give you but God decided it wasn’t to be . He decided you had earned your wings and it was time to go. I’ll miss our phone calls each and every day and your smile and waving from the door. Thank you for your love and hugs. I pray you’ll have taught us well enough to go on without you. We’ll try to be strong and carry on . I’ll love you forever Mama you were the best. Til we meet again in Heaven Rest In Peace . Save a spot for me ❤️

Your mother was so sweet, kind, and loving.  She will be truly missed but she left great memories that will never be forgotten.
I will always remember the day Tio Steve, Tia Marie, with a couple of kids in tow, arrived at our grandparents home that many years ago.
