Marilyn Jane Lavery

Marilyn Jane Lavery, of Chandler entered into rest July 29, 2014 at the age of 82. She was born Marilyn Jane Kesckes July 17, 1932 in Stamford, CT. On September 26, 1953 she married her husband James E. "Bud" Lavery. Together they moved their family to Arizona in 1975 from Burlington, VT. She raised 9 children; survivors include her children, James Jr. (Lisa), Brian (Carolyn), Sean (Jennifer), Charles (MaryKim), Matthew, Duane (Dee), Christopher (Cheryl), Sandra Montoya (Don), and Kevin; sisters Jean and Barbara (Larry); 21 grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, James III, Jeremy, Justin, Aaron, Janelle, Alyson, Andrea, Ashleigh, Angela, Tiffany, Kimberly, Bryce, Bryan, Katherine, Keeley, Kristyn, Christopher II, Haley, and Sarah, and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Green Acres Glendale Mortuary 5830 W Missouri Ave Glendale, AZ 85301 on Monday, August 4 beginning at 9:00am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Interment at the National Cemetery Arizona on Tuesday, August 5 at 1:00pm.
