Martha De La Huerta was a beautiful, loving and gracious soul. Her smile, warmth and infectious laughter touched everyone around her. She was born to Francisco and Soledad Ferreira on March 28, 1931 in Glendale, Arizona. She was the third of fifteen children. She was a beloved wife to Ediberto De La Huerta. They married on January 30, 1953. Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eddie. She is survived by her 7 children, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She entered into rest to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Sunday October 19, 2025. She is known for her patience, diligence, soft-spoken voice, her thoughtfulness, engineering skills, storytelling (always in the language of the situation) and her advice ("Si te" "preguntan", "diles")
Martha loved singing her alabanzas, reading her bible, jotting down scripture references/notes and tucking them within the pages of her bible. Her priority was her family. She loved to be in their company.
She will be greatly missed.
Our family wishes to acknowledge all your heartfelt prayers, kind words, expressions of sympathy and the many gestures of love.
