Mary Ellen Young

Mary Ellen Young, 76 of Wickenburg, passed away on June 15, 2018 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on April 19, 1942 to the late Melvin and Grace Ellen Hooper Haug in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated fro Phoenix Union High School. She then furthered her education at Bethany College graduating in Biblical Studies. She served as a missionary in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, California, New Mexico and Arizona. On December 22, 1967 she married Paul Young in Quito, Equador.

She enjoyed visiting her family and friends, working with children, teaching ministry of Pastor ken, music and her pet dogs.

Mary is survived by her loving spouse of 50 years. Paul Young; three children; Beverly (husband Kurt) Kniegge, Daniel (wife Hillary) Young and Carolyn (husband Jon) Davis; sisters; Carol Walker, Elaine Haug and Esther martin; grandchildren Krystal Kniegge, Christopher Kniegge, Kyle Kniegge, Russle Young, Camille Young, Ellliott Young, Jillian Young, Melissa Davis and Melody Davis; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Ann Mincks.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22 at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301, with Pastor Ken Demeter Officiating.
