Michael Prado

Michael Prado, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home on April 9, 2026, just days before his 74th birthday. He entered eternal rest, reunited with his parents, Gabriel & Carmen & his youngest grandson - Solomon.

Michael lived a life grounded in faith, unwavering loyalty, and a deep, enduring love for his family. His devotion to the Lord was the foundation of his life, guiding his actions, shaping his character, and strengthening him through every season. A proud and devoted Marine, he carried the spirit of Semper Fidelis, “Always Faithful” not only in service, but in the way he loved, led, and lived each day.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years - Margaret and their 5 children- Mary, Michael jr., Mark (Celina), Michelle, and Melissa, who were known to all as the M&Ms. His story doesn't end here; it continues in the laughter and lives of his 11 grandchildren Jr., Nicholas, Daniel, Michael lll, Breanna, Jasmine, Mark Jr., Matthew, Hugo, Andrew, and Hayden, And his 6 great-grandchildren- Kimberly, Bradley, Chloe, Greyson, Emma, and Oliver. He is also lovingly remembered

by his siblings - Dennis, Ronald, Katherine (Richard), Rosemarie, and Susan (Frank). "A bond unbroken by time, a presence missed in every way."

Above all, Michael was a man of strength and steady presence, a protector, a provider, and the foundation his family could always stand on. His greatest devotion was to his family, and he gave them his whole heart, always a steady source of love, strength, and comfort.

He found joy and peace in the outdoors -fishing, hunting, gardening, and at his beloved cabin in Snowflake, where the simplest moments with those he loved meant everything to him.

His love built a legacy that time will never touch.

Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, US, on April 25, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
