Milton "Buck" Rogers was born January 14th, 1934. He passed away suddenly, on April 3rd, 2018 after 84 short years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Rogers, their children, Cheryll, Barbara, Duane, Robert, Raymond, JJ, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Joe, Gary, Gail, Irma, and Liz. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Milton Rogers Sr., daughter Patty, and grandson Cory. Buck lived his life to the fullest. He was in the US Air Force for 20 years, serving two tours in Vietnam and coming home as a decorated military veteran. After Buck retired from the military, he started working for Continental Security as a security guard. Twenty-four years later, he again "retired" as Vice President of Operations. After enjoying a few months of retirement, Buck began his career with Glendale Harley-Davidson and later Arrowhead Harley-Davidson, where he spent the next 8 years. He once again retired and started to enjoy the later years of his life. Buck, not being the kind to just sit around, then began his own business, Roadrunner Motorcycle Transport, where he would help all bikers in need of assistance while on the road. Buck owned a succession of different Harleys, making many runs to Sturgis. He was active for many years in both the local HOG chapter, the Vietnam Veteran's Motorcycle Club, and others too numerous to list. Buck is, and will continue to be, loved by so many. He will live on in our memories and the stories we share about him. A Celebration of Life will be will be held on April 27th at 10:30 at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale. At 11:45, a procession will begin to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona for a committal service with a military honor guard.
