Nancy J Hamilton

Nancy Jacqueline (Cary) Hamilton of Sun City, Arizona passed away on September 10th, 2015. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 2nd, 1950 to Homer and Ellen Cary. She moved to Arizona with her family as a child and, has lived here in Arizona for the last 38 years. She later married Roy Hamilton of Phoenix, Arizona on October 28, 1967. She spent her last years with devoted companion and caregiver, Gene Haynes. She attended Sunnyslope High School and worked as a bartender, she was the best ever at her job.

Nancy lived for her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed life to the fullest, always with a smile on her face and a kind word from her heart. She lit up the room when she entered it.

Nancy is survived by her husband Roy Hamilton, son Roy (Jayme) Hamilton Jr. and daughter Trina (Jeff) Steele, grandchildren Kylie Hamilton, Braedon Hamilton, Jordin Steele, and Tiphany Steele, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Nancy is also survived by her three sisters; Sharon (Frank) Appodaca of Paulden, Arizona, Randie (James) Mitchell of Kennewick, Washington and, Tressie (Kirby) Mathews of Kennewick, Washington and Gene Haynes of Phoenix Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Barbara, and brother Terry.

A graveside service will be held for Nancy at Resthaven Park Cemetery; 6450 West Northern Avenue Glendale, Arizona 85301 on Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
