Nolan Allen Coffland was a bright, silly, passionate, and deeply loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend. A junior at Centennial High School, Nolan played on the JV football team, always bringing energy and laughter both on and off the field. He was known for his sharp mind, consistently earning A+ honor roll grades, and always making everyone around him smile with his sassy sense of humor.
Nolan had a love for the outdoors, particularly fishing. If you ask his brothers, they'll tell you Nolan always caught the biggest fish…that is if you take his word for it!
His competitive spirit and sense of adventure were unmatched. Cars were another of Nolan’s great passions. You could always find Nolan in the garage, working on cars, talking about them, or cruising to a car show. He loved the thrill of taking scenic drives and driving fast.
Nolan cherished the time spent working on the old Ford truck with his dad and grandpa, hitting the trails for off-roading adventures with his mom and step-dad, and lending a hand to his uncle Stevie as they fixed up the VW bus. Hunter and Nolan were “bff's" and always tinkering with their cars and sound systems, creating what they called, “the best two-man car club." Even though he finally had a real sized-car, you could still find random hot wheels in every bag, pocket, and lunchroom conversation with his friends.
Nolan lived life in the fast lane, laughing loudly, and loving fiercely. He embraced every moment with an open heart and an infectious spirit. We will forever carry him in our hearts, and every sunset will remind us of his bright, shining soul.
