

Nolan Rickey Harrison, 74 of Waddell, Arizona passed away on May 11, 2026, at Banner Del E Webb Medical Center in Surprise, Arizona with his wife and daughter by his side. In life, he went by the name Rick Harrison. His passing was peaceful and gentle. The wife and daughter share their eternal gratitude to the medical staff and chaplain that ministered in his time of passing.
He was born on March 29, 1952, in Plainview Texas to Nolan and Mary D. Harrison. He has a younger brother, Bobby Gale Harrison. In 1967, his family moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where his parents took ownership over Flagstaff Music Center. Rick graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1970 and went to study and receive certification in FCC Radio and Broadcasting in Los Angeles, California. Rick returned to Flagstaff, where he worked as a radio disc jockey for a local Flagstaff radio station, KEOS. He later went on to work as a co-owner in Flagstaff Music Center alongside his parents and brother. He also taught guitar and served on many music bands as a guitarist.
On May 15, 1977, he married the love of his life Candace Elizabeth Siler, who came from another prominent family that had established several businesses in the Flagstaff area. They had 2 children together, son, Justin Matthias Harrison and daughter, Christy Marie Harrison, now Christy Marie Mickail.
Rick is an exemplified man of faith and lived life honoring Jesus Christ in everything he did. He used his business in generosity to hundreds of churches throughout the world. He used his love for music and talent as a guitarist and singer in worship ministry. He used his voice to minister to those incarcerated and broadcasting in Christian radio. He lived his life as a great husband and father.
Nolan is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Mary Harrison. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Candace Elizabeth Harrison from Waddell, Az; son, Justin Matthias Harrison of Waddell, Az, daughter, Christy Marie Mickail (Nader Youssef Mickail) of Laveen, Az; brother, Bobby Gale Harrison (Lisa Harrison) of Prescott Valley, Az. He is very much loved and will truly be missed.
Services will be held on Friday May 29, 2026, at West Resthaven Funeral Home & Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m.
