Age 92, of Glendale, AZ went peacefully to be with her Lord on August 11, 2011. Odell was the second child of Lila Mc Clendon Godbehere and Warren Ralph Godbehere, both of whom preceded her in death. Odell was born August 30, 1918 in Garland County, Hot Springs, Arkansas. She worked for Goodyear Aircraft in 1945 and then was a loving wife and mother. Odell belonged to the Eastern Star and Northwest Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmore Earl; 3 brothers: Garland, Daniel, and Kenneth; a sister, Lylda Christman, and a grandson, Robert Duncan. Odell is survived by her daughter, Virginia Janis; a son, Ray Earl; 4 grandchildren: Ryan Duncan, Daniel Earl, Sarah Galven, and Rebecca Suazo; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Visitation will be Monday, August 15 from 6-8 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave., Glendale. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, August 16, at West Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Acres Scottsdale Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley.
