Don attended ASU part-time and graduated with “Distinction” as a Civil Engineer while raising a family and working full time for the City of Phoenix. Don then began a new career with Parson Brinkerhoff as a Project Manager. Don directed such projects as bridges, buildings, and oversaw the construction of “Tempe Town Lakes”.
Don enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting with his son, and camping with the whole family. Don’s great joy was home improvement projects. He could do anything around the home; plumbing, electrical, and room additions and more. Don enjoyed watching the Arizona Cardinals, Diamond Backs, and ASU play. He loved his Jeep and liked to tell a good story and joke.
Don leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Marjorie; his children Mary (Jerry) Youhanaie and James (Carol) Park; grandchildren Jana (Gary) Crosby and Kara Youhanaie (who will marry Rusty Keyser Friday August 16, 2019).
