Patricia Sierra

Patricia Sierra, 77 of Phoenix passed away March 19, 2014 after losing her battle with Endometrial Cancer. She is preceded in death by her son, Clark Wayne Sierra, parents Wayne and Zetta (Bronson) Drake of Idaho, and brothers Lewis Edwin Drake (Buddy) and Wayne Elbert Drake (Sonny). Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard, and two daughters, Ricki (Chris) Salyer and Rozanne (John) Quent both of Mesa, Arizona. Also survived by sister, Linda (Burton) Hanor of Layton, Utah and brother, Barry Drake of Lewiston, Idaho, 11 grand children and 12 great grand children.

Pat was an extremely kind, paitent, loving, caring, positive and self-less person who never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was always thinking about others and loved giving gifts for birthdays, to say thank-you, a job well done or just because someone needed a boost in their day.

Pat worked tirelessly for Goodmans, Inc. for 35 years after which she enjoyed volunteer work at Maryvale Hospital, spending time with family, and traveling with her husband, Richard. She had a beautiful singing voice and a soft touch on the piano, and also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and knitting (mostly baby blankets and slippers).

The love she had for her grand and great grand children will always be cherished by them, and her gentle touch and warm smile will truly be missed by all. "Bye-Oh-Bye" Grandma Pat. We love you!!

Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona with visitation on 3/24 at 12-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley in Pat's name.
