Pauline Arredondo

Pauline is survived by daughters Rachel, Estella and Rebecca, sons Jimmy, Gilbert, and David Jr., 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Arredondo Sr., parents Francisco and Francisca Esparza, and 13 brothers and sisters.

Whether it was scoping for deals at Ross or simply lounging in her recliner, Pauline found the most joy spending time with those she loved. Lovingly referred to as “Nana Pajama”, this strong, fierce matriarch lived her life supporting and encouraging her family with a great devotion to her Catholic faith and the Virgen de Guadalupe. She will be fondly remembered wearing her hoop earrings, black eyeglasses, eating her favorite foods and donning a warm smile saying “CHEESE!”

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary at 6:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home; 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. A funeral mass will take place the following day on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Ss. Simon & Jude Cathedral; 6351 N. 27th Avenue in Phoenix. Immediately following, Pauline will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery; 7844 N. 61st Avenue in Glendale.
