He was born on November 26, 1939 in Lewiston, Maine to the late Adrien and Alma Paradis. He was a member of his high school’s men’s choir and hockey team. He graduated from St. Dom’s high school in 1958.
Ray dated the love of his life, Shirley L. Daigle for 2 years before marrying On August 31, 1963.
Ray held a variety of jobs until he found his passion in meat cutting. He was a butcher for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing cards, watching the Red Sox and being with his family.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, Ray is survived by their five children, Ken (Bev Vagnetti) Paradis, Raeann (Dino) Krallis, Gregg (Monica) Paradis, Michelle (Chad) Alexander, and Scott (Emily) Paradis, a sister Jackie (Don) Levesque and eight grandchildren Bryan, Bethany (Enoch), Griffin, River, Andrew, Payton, Jolie, Elliott & a ninth one, Emma, due in November. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Clemente, Roland, and Bertrand.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
