Rene Brumfield

Rene Brumfield, age 65 passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Rene was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 20,1957 to the late Thomas (Bud) Andrews and Barbara Murders. She attended Cortez High School, graduating class of 1975. She furthered her education at Cosmetology School obtaining her beauticians license.

Rene was briefly married to Rick DiMartino . Years later after her divorce she met Nick Brumfield and they were happily married for 22 years, until his passing in December 2006. She enjoyed watching all of her grandkids growing up. She made many friends along the way. She joined a bowling league with some of her co-workers and would play a couple times a week. Once a month her favorite activity was to go to a get together and play bunco with her friends "The Bunco Bitches".

She is survived by 4 sisters, Colinda Davis, Robin Enos, Charlene Davis and Audrey Andrews, and 2 brothers, Tony Andrews and Joe Davis. Rene has 2 sons, Joseph DiMartino and Dallas Brumfield, and 2 Step-daughters, Mei Peltier and Evelyn Brumfield. She has 4 granddaughters, Sabrina Salliotz, Gabrielle DiMartino, Olivia Brumfield and Elaina Brumfield. In addition she has 3 great grandchildren, Aprylle DiMartino, Jayden DiMartino and Vyollet Di Martino. Lastly she had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Visitation for Rene will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, Arizona. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM A Graveside service will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ
