

Rosalie Virginia Salter passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on November 5, 1941, to the late Harold and Rose Taylor, Rosalie was a beacon of loyalty, devotion, and hard work throughout her life.
Rosalie was a pub owner for over a decade and dedicated 36 years as a caregiver to her family. She was the legal guardian to her niece, Vicky, a testament to her unwavering sense of family obligation. Her career and personal life were marked by a profound dedication to those she loved.
Survived by her son Steven, 1st niece Shallimar and her husband Randall, and her 2nd niece Vicky, all of Phoenix, Arizona, Rosalie cherished the close bond she shared with her family. They all lived together, upholding family traditions, with Rosalie often cooking for the entire family. Her love for family extended beyond her immediate circle, as she always made time for others and cared deeply for her son and many other family members.
Rosalie's personal interests included trips to California and Vegas, enjoying the shared experiences with loved ones. Her life was a tapestry woven with a great sense of morals and respect, as she was known for being family-oriented and a true lady. She faced life's challenges with resilience, having survived COVID and cancer twice.
In the words of her niece Vicky, she is thankful that God gave Rose to her father as a sister. Rosalie's legacy is one of grace and strength, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend services for Rose on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at West Resthaven Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona.
