

Roxanne Lizabeth Potter Browne, 69, of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Jane Tinkham Potter and Charles G. “Bill” Potter.
Roxanne pursued her education at Glendale Community College, West Texas State University, and Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She was also certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade and spent time substitute teaching students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. While she valued education and enjoyed working with students, Roxanne considered her most important and cherished role to be that of a mother.
She was an active and dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served in many offices throughout the years, including Grand Chaplain. Her commitment to service and community was evident in the many friendships and connections she built through the organization.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, Charles G. “Bill” and Jane Tinkham Potter and her sister, Baby Girl Potter.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery Browne; her children, Morgan Browne-Guajardo and her wife Lorena, Corey Browne and his wife Samantha, and Karey Trusler and her husband William. She was a proud grandmother to Xavier, Eyan, Eisley, Kendal, Emerson, Sullivan, Roxlynn, and Jeffery. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Nava, and her brother, Douglas Potter and his wife Ana.
Family meant everything to Roxanne. She loved deeply and took great joy in spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of her life. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her kindness, and the lasting impact she had on those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on March 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at West Resthaven Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roxanne’s honor to Mayo Clinic.
