Ruby Mae Mooney, born Feb 15, 1928 in Groesbeck Texas to George and Henrietta Mooney. As the Matriarch of her large diverse family, everyone knew they could go to Ruby for help and advice. Ruby loved to laugh and had an amazing sense of humor. We all loved to hear her tell stories of her youth, followed by her contagious laugh. Ruby passed away peacefully at home on August 24th, with her family by her side. She is survived by two sisters Vivian Dugar, Erma Allen; daughter Margie Wallace, 2 sons Willie Bryant Sr., Kirby Bryant; 5 Grandchildren, Weldon Bryant, Rodney McClain, Willie Bryant Jr. , Edward Bryant and Som Bubpala; 10 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband MC Bryant, her daughter, Gloria (Bryant) McClain and her Great Grandson, Daniel J Bryant. Funeral arrangements handled by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary.
