Ruth B. Wood 89 of Litchfield Park, formerly of Ravenna, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Laloma Care Center. Ruth was born On Feb. 2, 1926 in Newark, NJ to the late Arthur B. Becker and Charlotte Jaekel. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, confidant, and Public Relations person for the family business of Wood, Kortright, Borkoski Funeral Home. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Wood, sister, Gloria (Thomas) Liddy. She is survived sons Robert A. Kortright (Terry Wilson) and David B. Kortright of Goodyear, AZ; step sons Jack A. Wood, II and Robert A. Wood, II of Ravenna, OH; step daughter, Linda (Don) Gepper of Milford, MI; sister, Doris (James) Williams of Denver, CO; grandchildren Todd (Amanda) Kortright, Kimberly (Martin) Sears, Jason (Angela) Wood, Jack (Maxine) Wood, III, Matt and Jeff Gepper. Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, 2:30PM at the La Loma Village, 14154 W. Denny Blvd. Litchfield Park, AZ.
