

Sara was born in Pasadena, CA to Thais Joyce (Crandall) and John Sova Conklin on March 3, 1963.Sara was the youngest of three children to Thais and John. When Sara was six years old the family moved to Carmel Valley, CA for a better life and to live outside of the city. Sara attended Tularcitos elementary school and graduated from Carmel High School. Sara was good in school and a very nice person. She was named the Home Coming Queen in her senior year and was the only girl on the men's water polo team. Sara and her high school sweet heart graduated, got married and had a beautiful daughter named Crystal. Sara went on with her education at Monterey Peninsula College to get her core classes and to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. After some college she got a job where she worked as a bank teller.
Sara was a total animal person; she had dogs and cats and horses. Sara loved riding horses . She loved living in the country, riding near the river and on the trails in Garland Park with her sister and her friends.
Sara leaves behind her sister Lisa (David) Battaglia; nieces and nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sara is preceded in heaven by her daughter Crystal Turner; mother and father Thais and John Conklin and brother Ken Conklin.
Private services are going to be held in Carmel Valley and then she will be interred with her daughter in Monterey, CA.
