Stefani was born in Auburn County, California, on May 19, 1941. She grew up alongside her brother John and sister Kay. As a teenager, she won awards for her art, a passion that continued throughout her life. Stefani also had a lifelong love for horses, participating in barrel racing as a teen and often drawing horses during school lectures. She graduated from Kingman High School and went on to become a loving mother of five children.
In her career, Stefani professionally dyed garments for a clothing company that sold to elite boutique stores. She was also known for her work in taxes and as a customer service manager at a building maintenance company. However, the job she took the most pride in was working for Chase Bank in customer service, where she remained until her retirement in 2004.
Stefani was married to Charles L. Kinsey Jr., and together they had five children. They spent their college years in Utah before eventually settling in Arizona.
Stefani's personal interests were vast and varied. She worked with numerous art mediums, including charcoals, batiks, sculpting, ceramics, oils, and pastels. She also taught Celtic roundhand calligraphy and was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, where she was known as Baroness Orlenda merch Llynn and received several awards for her creative work.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Stefani was known for teaching the art forms she loved to those around her. She was always willing to listen and loved having conversations with others.
The family of Stefani J. Kinsey would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who supported Stefani during the difficult final months of her journey.
