Vernon was involved with the operating engineers union and spent his free time off-road racing and giving spectacular jeep tours.
He is survived by his daughters Cindy Farrimond and Susan Harambasic, grandchildren Lesley Booher, Ashley Farrimond, Carrie Harambasic, Thomas Harambasic, Sara Key, and Cody Marshall, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister Carole Barker.
In addition to his parents, Vernon is predeceased by his wife Mary Brown, his children Michael Brown and Trudy Reeves, and his sister Donna Reid.
A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
