Victoriano Garcia, lovingly known as Junior, passed away at the age of 48 in Youngstown, Arizona. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and lived his life with heart, pride, and deep love for his family and culture.
Junior was passionate about Chicano culture, lowriders, and building bikes from scratch. A true craftsman. Life did not always deal Junior an easy hand, and he often had to survive by making his own way. Through hardship, he remained strong, resilient, and determined. He loved hard and was always willing to help anyone in need. Known for his stubborn streak, Junior stood his ground and stayed true to who he was — a reflection of his strength, perseverance, and unwavering loyalty to the people he loved.
He is survived by his mother, brother and sisters: Lupe Cortez, Denise Cortez, Stephanie Castillo, Steven Cortez, and April Alonzo
Though Junior is no longer with us in body, we find comfort in knowing his spirit lives on. As Scripture reminds us, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1). Junior has been called home to rest in God’s eternal peace, free from pain and struggle, surrounded by light and love. His memory will continue to guide and watch over those who loved him until the day we are reunited.
Junior will forever be remembered for his big heart, his stubborn but loving nature, his resilient spirit.
A funeral service will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, United States. The service is scheduled for February 15, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
