Virginia Ruiz Garcia passed away on July 14, 2022, at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 23, 1940, in Coolidge, one of 13 children born to the late Rupert and Belen Ruiz. Virginia married Pedro Quezada Tecuatl on May 23, 2009.
Virginia is survived by her husband Pedro, four children Gloria Orona, Peter Orona, Steve Orona & Louie Arellano, four sisters Pat, Cecilia, Suzanna & Mary and four brothers Richard, David, Eddie & Ralph. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, a daughter Victoria Orona, a son Frankie Orona and four brothers Rupert, Patrick, Clyde & Freddie, preceded Virginia in death.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5033 N. 38th Avenue, Phoenix. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
