He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 26, 1949 to the late William and May Karl.
Before moving to Phoenix in 1977 Bill was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Toledo and enjoyed singing in the choir from an early age.
While living in Arizona he enjoyed camping with friends, listening to music and visiting with extended family.
William is survived by his two sisters Penny King of Phoenix and Deborah Karl of Maumee, OH.
