

Zackery Jude Bennett, a cherished and beloved son, brother, friend who lived in Phoenix, Arizona, was born on July 13, 1990, and passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2025, at the young age of 34. Known to all as a gentle giant that had a heart big enough for everyone and anyone who needed it. Zack's presence was made known in every room he entered with his big booming voice and his very continuous laughter. His wisdom and insight were wanted and invited by everyone close to him.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Zack graduated from Moon Valley High School and was known for his compassion, honesty, and endless amount of humor. He was wise beyond his years and an extremely thoughtful person, always selfless with his actions and loyal to his family, friends and friends that became family. An amazing impressionist with the best references that never failed to bring a laugh but also enjoyed Dungeons and Dragons with his friends, all things Disney with a special appreciation for 'Alice in Wonderland' and the Cheshire Cat. His planned trip to Disney with his stepbrother Connor, just four days after his passing, testifies to his love and commitment for his family.
Zack is survived by his mother, Tiffany Bennett, father and stepmother, Raymond and Lynn Bennett, younger brother and sister-in-law Jacob & Jennifer Bennett, niece Jewel, nephew Jacob Jr., stepbrother Connor Valverde, his platonic life partners Jessica and Sergei Levin, cousin Logan Miller and three stepsisters, Amanda Dunn, Jennifer Dunn, and Rachelle Archer. His loss is also mourned by his parental grandmother, Cecila Bennett, maternal grandmother, Sandra Miller, as well as several aunts, uncles, and additional cousins. Zack's family included his beloved cat, Missy Kitty, and a new kitten named Marmalade.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy Bennett, III, and maternal grandfather, Robert Miller.
Zack's mother described him as "half of our everything," a sentiment deeply felt by all who were fortunate to know him. His family and friends remember him as a hilarious, kind-hearted, and resilient man whose generous spirit could light up a dark room
The celebration of Zack's life and tribute will be on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 1PM - 3PM at Dillon's KC BBQ Arrowhead, 20585 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308.
Zack will be remembered for his compassion, humor, and the genuine warmth he extended to all.
