He was surrounded and cared for by his children and their spouses: Jorge Martinez (Ana), Jose Manuel Martinez (Rosa), Ana M. Gamez, Francisco Javier Martinez (Consuelo Cortez), Maria G. Martinez and daughter-in-law, Emilia Martinez-Cardoza; his grandchildren: Yoann Martinez, Nancy Martinez, Astrid Raimondo (Luke), Jorge Martinez (Laura), Manuel Martinez, Claudia Villa, Daniel Martinez, Ramon Antonio Gamez, Franco V. Martinez, Benjamin Sanchez Martinez and Emilia Martinez; his great grandchildren: Lucas Raimondo, Santino Raimondo, Jorge Agustin Martinez, Lianna Martinez, Izabella Villa, Jonathan Villa, Darren Martinez, Fiorella Martinez, Evelyn Martinez, Garnet Grace Martinez and Alex Lopez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Manuela Fu Martinez and his son, Eduardo Martinez.
A Celebration of Life for J. Guadalupe will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Glendale Funeral Home, 511 South Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204. Following the Celebration of Life will be a burial from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1712 S. Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205.
