

Piera Annamaria Casella, age 80, passed away peacefully December 4, 2020 due to Chronic obtrusive pulmonary disease (COPD). She was born December 8, 1939 in Torino, Italy to Frank and Tina Domino. She married Mauro Carlo Casella in October of 1969 who preceded her in death in 2017.
Piera devoted her life to her family and faith. Her door was always open. She welcomed all and shared her love of food by feeding everyone that came over. Piera was highly skilled in sewing; enjoyed skiing, bowling, shopping, traveling and watching her kids play sports. She instilled in her children strong values and morals from a very young age. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Piera is survived by her brother and wife Mario and Jan Domino, her sister Bianca Domino; her five children, son William Hoover, son Carlo Casella, son Bruno and his wife Jodi Casella, daughter Julie and her husband Joe Burns, daughter Lisa and her wife Paulette Pantoja; her 8 grandchildren, Allyson, Gino, Patrick, Joey, Emilie, Jeremy, Oliver, and Luke; plus her many nephews and nieces. She loved each and every member of her family and touched their lives deeply.
Please join us celebrating her life Saturday, January 16, 2021, between 12 Noon - 1:30 p.m. at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills.
