Alex was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 10, 1976 to Ramon Ravelo and Maritza Diaz Reyes. From the start, he was filled with Dominican and Puerto Rican Pride and being raised in the heart of Bushwick helped him stay true to his roots. There he built friendships that lasted his lifetime.
Alex was a cherished brother to Raymond and Elizabeth, and a devoted husband to Jessica for 18 wonderful years. He was an incredibly proud father to his daughters, Alyssa and Natalie, and his family was always the center of his world.
Alex was free spirited and loved to laugh. He loved music, especially reggae, and would hit the dance floor at the drop of a beat. Alex liked to engage in spirited debates and at any point saying his infamous phrase "whatcha mean", but it was his gentle, selfless soul that drew people closer to him.
Alex was a man of unwavering faith and the hardworking owner of his HVAC business, Ceams New York. He built his life and career on a foundation of diligence, respect, and trust. He had a passion for life that was evident in his love for physical fitness, bike marathons, traveling, and exploring the mysteries of the universe.
Alex will be remembered for his compassionate nature, his quest for knowledge and the playfulness he extended to everyone, especially his family. His kindness and generosity held our family together, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
