I have rarely met someone so positive in my life as Lynnie. Even though we didn't see each other much over the course of life, she has always kept me and my family close to her heart and always in her head. I have a son who she has showered with gifts and messages of love since the day he was born until she could not. I will miss opening Facebook and seeing a thousand hearts from her, letting us know she's enjoying seeing him grow up. We will miss you Lynnie. There's an emptiness where your personality was. Here's Ezra wrapped in the Snoopy blanket you bought for him. Love you forever! Victoria, Sam, and Ezra Strevens

I am honored to speak about my aunt Lynn.
My aunt was a special and amazing courageous woman. She was a fun loving lady who was full of life! Her smile would light up an entire room. She made everyone who knew her happy. She always had a positive attitude and always gave amazing advice. She was always there with a listening ear if you needed to talk or just “shoot the breeze” . She had a joke for everyday of the week !! When my aunt was diagnosed with leukemia it was a very difficult time for our family. My aunt Lynn was such a positive person and strong woman and never acted depressed . She told me she was a fighter much like my grandpa Larry !! She just encouraged us to cheer up and showed us her positive side. My cousins Angelo and Lisa were her rock. They were there for their mom 24 hours a day ..7 days a week. My aunt could not have been blessed with such an amazing son and daughter. Aunt Lynn was a truly incredible mother as well as a wonderful sister to my dad Stan and stepmother Claire. I am so grateful that I have had such special memories with my aunt like when she took me to Coney Island or just getting ice cream . And of course she would never say no when I wanted a special toy! I feel fortunate to have those meaningful times with her when we used to go to brooklyn and visit our grandparents. Aunt Lynn taught me that everyday is a gift and to always look positive at any situation that you are faced with. I love her for that. Each moment she was with her family was her happiest days. My dad believes our journey does not end here that we meet again one day. So until that day comes my sweet aunt may you rest and find peace and just know how much you are loved and you will be in my heart forever ❤️

Lisa and Angelo, We can't expect words to take away the loss of your mother. She was an amazing woman who brightened up any room that she entered. We will always remember her warm smile and infectious laugh with she often displayed with her incredible sense of humor. It was a pleasure to have known her for 20 plus years. Please find some comfort in knowing that she will always be doing what she did best- looking down on both of you and making sure you are both happy and safe.

Mom, I still feel like this can’t be real. The pain and intense loss is something that I’m still trying to figure out how to come to terms with and this new realty of learning how to live without you feels like an impossible task. However, being the incredible mom you were, I believe you gave me all the tools I needed growing up and taught me how to stand on my feet and I will take all the strength and courage you had and try to utilize that in my life now so I can make you proud. I’ll love you forever you’ll always be with me in my heart. RIP give grandpa and grandma a big kiss and hug from me. Until we meet again, I love you mom 😘❤️😓

My heart is so heavy from this tremendous loss. I have so many beautiful memories from my childhood that involved you. So funny, so kind, and always smiling. My mom always said you were made of sugar, and she was right. One of the sweetest women I’ve ever had the privilege of calling my aunt. I love you, Aunt Lynn. May you rest in the arms of the angels, and continue to shine your light down upon Angelo and Lisa. Please give my mom and dad a big kiss from me. I know they welcomed you with open arms. ♥️

Angelo & Lisa,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I remember her fondly from growing up on 64th Lane. She always smiled and was kind. She will certainly be watching over the two of you.
May God grant you peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Mom, I can’t believe we’re going through this. You’ve been my biggest inspiration, my first love, my protector growing up. And now that you’re physically gone, I know you’re always still going to be here in spirit watching over Lisa and I, giving us guidance. You’re the strongest person I’ve ever known and you did it all with a joke and a smile. Amazing amazing woman. You’ve touched So many people’s lives mom and I’ll never ever forget you. Thank you again for everything you’ve done for me and all your love and support you’ve always given me. I’ll love you forever mom ❤️😇
