I met Patrick M. Finegan (Pat) 20+ years ago through a friend. The first day we met we bonded like brothers. Why I said this only to find out that his birthday was the 10th of January and mine the 11th, so we always remembered to call one another on our birthdays. Pat was always funny loving person, someone you would always want around you. He will be greatly missed, my condolences to Gloria Finegan and family.

Pat was one of my earliest classmates, in St. Sebastian's, in Woodside. Later, I frequently saw him at his father's bar, Finegans, on Roosevelt Ave., Woodside. Pat and his brothers took over the bar, after Mr. Finegan passed away, in 1987. One band which played there was Morningside Drive. The lead singer was Kerry Merkle, another classmate from St. Sebastian's. R.I.P. Pat; you will be in my prayers.

So sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. I had just been telling Sandy about one of our adventures from 50 years ago.  It is hard to believe he is gone.  He will be in our prayers along with the family.
