

Della Coots passed away quietly on November 1, 2010 at the Allison Care Center. She was born and raised in Monte Vista, Colorado. She lived most of her life in Denver. She married Jack Coots of Walsenburg, CO on January 13, 1941. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1995.
She is survived by four children; Charlene Sigman and her husband, Dale, of North Attleboro, MA and their three children, Sara, Margo, and Eric; Sharon Coots of Denver, and her two children Christopher and Kevin; Mary Ellen White of Lakewood; J Kemory Coots and his wife Lisa Haas of Denver and their two children Jack Kemory and Shannon.
She is also survived by her brother Robert L. Jones and wife Dorothy of Canon City, CO, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by family:
Mother: Mary Amelia Jones
Father: Hosea Lamar Jones
Brothers: Bill Arp Jones and James Jones
Sisters: Ruby Burke, Marcelene Wagner, Ana Lou Crawford, and Shirley Burnham.
Della loved family life, walking, fishing, camping, playing bridge, music, and travel. She and her husband Jack traveled extensively with Ports of Call Travel Club. She also loved going "up the hill" to gamble on slot machines. She was an excellent cook. Della was known for her wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.

A family service will be held at Fort Logan cemetery on November 10. A Celebration of Her Life for family and friends will be at the Kemory Coots residence from 4:00pm on November 10.
