John McClure, 69, died September 25, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Mary McClure and his brother, Charles McClure. John attended Cochise College, Douglas Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona and Pima College in Tucson, Arizona, majoring in the Arts. He was a portrait and Figure artist as well as a sheet metal associate and actively participated in the transportation business. John played the guitar and sang locally in the Tucson area as well as being the owner of a nursery for indigenous plants to the area. He served honorably as an Army Medical Corpsman, serving in Vietnam and was the recipient of 6 Honorary Medals including the Purple Heart. He later wrote a lengthy treatise about one battle which he experienced during that war. John will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
