Married 25 years to Tom Leonard, as a military wife/mother she worked for the San Diego Sun before joining civil service and retiring as a Federal Immigration Officer. She then worked as a travel agent and then a library aide in the Jefferson County libraries.
She is survived by daughter Kathleen, son Doug, son-in-law Marion, daughter-in-law Diana, grandchildren Colleen, Patrick, Summer, and Sean, and great granddaughter Rebecca.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial Donation to CCFA - Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
A wake/memorial is planned for mid December in the DFW area.
